This former industrial site turned heritage attraction showcases the history of the Serpentine Works, a renowned manufacturer of springs and pressings. Explore the preserved factory buildings, machinery, and exhibits to uncover the stories of the people who worked there and the significance of the industry in the region.
A beautiful nature spot to explore, sketch and relax. Pebbly beach, impressive rocks and ruins of old Serpentine works. Good spot to eat a pasty and enjoy the view across to Kennack.
Really cool little cove with abandoned factory buildings. There was a free information display at the car park which gave a bit of context. Loved the walk through the woods and the bridge. Some more information boards would have been cool!
Gorgeous hidden gem! Lovely walks with absolutely beautiful views, once you walk through the woodlands onto the cove it's very secluded usually barely any people are down there and it's very peaceful. Lovely spot to visit, the coastal walks surrounded are easy and great views once again! Free parking on site.
Stunning views and the private beach here and interesting history of this building
Stunning place but not easily accessible. NT car park nearby but there is a hilly coast path down to the cove. Some wonderful rock and pebble sculptures on the rocky beach. Very scenic
Great place for a quick visit and take in the derelict buildings now taken over by nature, the little bridge over the stream running to the sea and then the view on the pebble beach. The lanes to it are quite narrow. There is a small caravan of information of the site from the National Trust. There are two walks, one is about half an hour and the other is about 10 mins. Well worth a visit.
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
Good for kids
