Picturesque, narrow valley & woodlands popular for walking along the large rocks in a brook.
Amazing trail I have ever hiked. Strongly recommended. Must visit place for adventure lovers. You go lost into the woods. Beautiful trekking place. pay and park available.
Padley Gorge is a beatiful place to go for a walk, to have a picnic or even to cool yourself down on a hot summer day. The terrain may be a bit of a challenge for very young kids or prams but the kids sure will love it.
Padley Gorge is a stunning spot for walking, with beautiful views and a tranquil setting, making it an ideal destination for nature lovers. There's also a cafe nearby where you can relax and enjoy a drink after your walk. However, a major issue with the car park is that payment can only be made via the RingGo app. Unfortunately, there's no mobile network coverage in the area, which means you won't be able to use the app to pay on-site. It's important to arrange your parking payment in advance or consider alternative parking arrangements to avoid any problems.
Struggled to find somewhere to park. Ended up parking on the roadside. (However, look for signs as some places are no parking) After a short walk, we made it down to the train station and into the Padley gorge area. The entire area is dog friendly, but I did not see a waste bin during our visit. The scenery is beautiful, with lots of different paths to follow. There are some areas that are little steep (with steps at times) along the stream, but the views are lovely. I brought my family and dog today and had a great time. Next time we come, we are planning on bringing a packed lunch so we can spend longer exploring. Had a great day. I would definitely recommend it to anyone able.
The nicest place we have been so far, the scenery is beautiful with a lovely stream and waterfalls, theres a car park with a cafe on site Members park for free otherwise you have to pay PS5 which gives you 3 hours, or there's free parking on the road with an ice cream van, great for family's, definitely worth it, can't wait to go back
Went on a bank holiday, so parking was bit tough but managed to get one. We did a short walk with the kids as it started raining. Lovely enchanted woods, which I am sure looks magical all year round. Would love to visit again and hopefully cover a longer route.
