This rugged headland on the north Cornwall coast offers breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding countryside. The Dodman, a rocky outcrop, stands tall at 300 feet high, its dramatic silhouette a striking feature of the landscape. On a clear day, visitors can see as far as the Lizard Peninsula in the east and the Isles of Scilly to the west. The area is also home to a variety of wildlife, including seabirds, seals, and dolphins, which can be spotted from the coastal path.
A wonderful short (2 mile) loop from the NT car park. Great views. Well worth a visit. Would recommend walking boots when it's rained ..plenty of mud on path to coast
Can't fault the Cornish scenery, but getting there involves single track roads with tight passing points. Expect to reverse back up the road and maybe get a slight scrape from the vegetation. Nice 1 hour long circular walk with great views.
Lovely views. Great walks, some is quite steep and if the wind is blowing it can be a difficult. You can make it longer or shorter if you want. Definitely would go again. Nice car park close to the start of the walk
Gorgeous views. This coastal path is a little more difficult than your standard walk, there are lots of inclines and uneven paths. Overall, another beautiful part of Cornwall.
Lovely circular costal path, has an easier route and a harder route - just more elevations. Great views of the coast. Car park with honesty box.
Wonderful views of the coast and sea of south Cornwall. We walked from the youth hostel at Boswinger to gorran haven, and this point is about half way. Steep inclines to get there. The stone- cross itself is a bit of an eye sore but has historical significance and makes a popular meeting/rest/photo point. Take your binoculars if you want to look at boats or for dolphin. We saw wild horses on the way up.
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
