This expansive heathland offers scenic walks, stunning views, and a chance to spot local wildlife such as butterflies, birds, and reptiles.
Super place for a walk. Mixed old English deciduous and coniferous Woodland, with a viewing point of The Sea and West Runton village from the heathland viewpoint. Stick to established paths as you get Ticks in Summer. Well worth a visit.
Great woods to explore from the highest point in Norfolk. The small car park was free, the ticket machine looking long unused. Descend the steep path north for lots tracks in the woods, or head west along the track for a less strenuous amble along the top of the ridge. There were lots of benches in the woods and plenty of good views to be had.
Loverly place to have a walk around whatever time of the year with lots of seating along the routes and lots of coastline views, only partially suitable for a mobility scooter. Not a large car park put ample, "please note" no scanning facilities for your NT cards so just display your card in the window . no facilities at this site .
Beautiful place to walk with stunning views across to the sea and lovely woodland walks
Really lovely place to go walking. Beautiful woodland and heath. Great viewpoints where you can see the sea. The map you can at the car park could be a bit better as we got lost at one point.
Brilliant dog walking paths. I dont really want other people to find this place it's so peaceful.
Wheelchair-accessible car park
Good for kids
