This stunning glasshouse is home to a vast collection of cacti and tropical plants from around the world. The warm and humid environment is perfect for these exotic species, and visitors can wander through the house and get up close to the fascinating flora on display. With its intricate architecture and beautiful surroundings, the Cactus & Tropical House is a must-see attraction for anyone interested in botany or simply looking for a tranquil escape.
A fairly large glass house home to a variety of different plants. The glass house can accessed by three different sets of external doors but each section is connected via internal doors so it doesn't matter which entrance you use. At the time of our visit they had a selection of exotic squashes on display in part of the glass house.
Easygoing, nice walks with views, and an interesting cactus collection.
The tropical and Cactus house has some lovely plants to look at,some of the Cacti are quite big with some in bloom, bearing lovely flowers.......There are some really unusual plants in the tropical house too,it was very warm inside on our visit as it was a hot and sunny day...There were also lemon trees that they had brought out from the houses that had plenty of fruit on them.... These gardens are a great place to explore.....
Another gem of a natural trust property. Log play area was great fun
Very nice place staff are very helpful and easy going
