Lovely day out - fascinating place, iconic engines and machinery, excellent job of preserving our industrial heritage as well as being a beautiful, peaceful setting
Beautiful place where they've preserved the details of water ways. We were lucky to go in on a day where people were dressed in Victorian style and enjoyed the guided tour. Highly recommend this place and the tickets are valid for a year. Lovely cafe as well and what's even better is that it is dog friendly
An enjoyable day out, reasonably priced, and a good mix of things to see. The day we were there, there were a few WW1 stalls also, showing off anything from muskets to ration packs. A nice touch. They recently changed the fees, where you used to get in for a year with your ticket. Now there are 2 pricing options, and the annual ticket is effectively double the price. It's still absolutely worth it however. The short canal boat trip for PS5; the lady who did the commentary was incredibly passionate and informative... However the trip is over very quickly and doesn't go very far. Appreciate it's just a taster, however. Overall recommend it to all.
