This is the third time I have visited and thoroughly enjoyed it. The location is superb with beautiful countryside and fantastic rapids. The instructors do a great job in making your experience fun and memorable. The site facilities are very good, with good sized changing rooms, a nice cafe to purchase food and drinks. There is a lovely outdoor seating area, where you can look out on to the river. Shout out to the lady photographer that does a fantastic job capturing all the event photos, they are brilliant. I would definitely recommend visiting here, you will certainly have a really fun filled day.
Came here with kids aged 2 and 5 looking for a walk by the river and had an amazing time! The staff is kind and friendly and had lots of information for us, the cafe was wonderful with views over the river. Toilets are clean and well maintained. The lady at the info desk offered us some free activity kits for the kids (to be returned at the end), which contain a backpack, binoculars, magnifying glass, tape measure, crayons and a clipboard with activity sheets. Our oldest had a fantastic time searching for wildlife and plants, observing the world around him on the hour long walk up the river and back - we were even offered carabiners and rope to tether the kids to ourselves as the walk is quite close to the rapids; didn't need them in the end but a lovely thought. We'll definitely be back for a walk next time we're around, and for some rafting when the kids are old enough!
What an experience this was. Been here twice to take part in the Ultimate rafting, amazing experience both times and the guides are great, very friendly and they explained everything so well. They don't half give you a run for your money, but always as safe as they can be. Last trip was with Adam and Rhys on a safety kayak, I recommend this to anyone who doesn't mind getting soggy. Can't wait to do it again.
Did the 2hr package with my two sons (12 & 15) Great experience, friendly instructors rapids were full, exhilarating and safe. By family loved it. 2 hrs equates to three times around in a loop including getting changed. I at was very chatty and cracking jokes. My kids loved it. As there were three trips we got to swap positions and the boys got to take turns sitting at the front. I would re highly recommend.
I LOVED LOVED LOVED this. My mixed group was with Adam. I was on a trip with my husband for our anniversary. We did the 2 hour, 3 visit trip. Exhausting, exhilarating, hilarious, just loved it. Adam was funny, charming, witty but serious when needed. We felt well informed before we set off. Our team was fabulous which made for a great trip When can I do it again?!
