This original canal company office, built in 1838, is now an impressive, refurbished Grade II listed building that stands in the old public wharf area, now known as Navigation Yard. The charming building has a heritage theme covering the early the story of the Slea Navigation and its significant impact on the town's history. Currently on show is the exhibition 'Uncovering Sleaford Castle', free to view during opening times. Interactive exhibits, displays and film footage make a lovely visit for all ages - you can even pick up some duck food and continue your experience along the riverside to Cogglesford Watermill. Knowledgeable staff will help you discover the area. Adjacent to the Hub for refreshments and toilet facilities.

It's only a small museum but it has been done beautifully, the building renovation was stunning and museum interactive exhibitions covered all ages. Finally it is free to enter. An absolute gem in the heart of Sleaford, which is definitely worth a visit.
