This tranquil oasis in the heart of Suffolk features a serene lake surrounded by lush vegetation and walking trails, providing a haven for wildlife and a peaceful escape for visitors.
Not so much nature to be seen as its quite busy with humans and dogs, but a pretty stroll around the lake none the less. The 'islands' on the edge of the main lake are a handy reserve/retreat.
Ample parking, lovely place to go for a walk and the play area is great :)
I used to come here with my children for a lovely walk around nature however I cannot believe how much dog poo around, on the foot path and in the picnic areas. There was spit on the benches. Restrooms are dirty, lacking hand soap. The only good point is the play park for the children.
A popular local attraction with free parking and easy walks around the lake. Plenty of birds hang around waiting to be fed!
Still enjoying the walk around the lake and the children can enjoy learning and playing
Love this place very muddy today ad water had only just receded from flooding and part of the path was closed.
Good for kids
Dogs allowed
