A lovely place to come to. I came by steam train from Wansford. The staff a really helpful and friendly. The trains are well kept and when you are being hauled by a steam locomotive, you can't help but like the sounds and smell of steam. If you get off here, you can explore a really nice park. A really nice way way to spend a Saturday.

If you are into steam then Nene Valley is a place you must visit. A very regular summer service to Peterborough, by steam and diesel engine. The weekend we were there we were treated to seeing the Flying Scotsman and Tornado in steam, the Scotsman going to Peterborough and back all day, pre-booked tickets only.
