Pretty walk alongside the River Arle. Loads of ducks, swans and trout in this crystal clear, chalk river.
been to New Alresford a couple of times now the town itself is very nice lots of nice shops and places to get a cuppa and something to eat the walk around the river is great and the the cottage that is straddling the river is picturesque it's well worth a vist
2nd time of visiting, lots of history, beautiful walk and very scenic, highly recommended
Very peaceful place to stop for a picnic, only slight hang up (nothing to do with how it's looked after) is that it can get very boggy and muddy near the furthest part, so not all was accessible on a hot day, about one third was too muddy, but that's just the water logged ground. If that could be solved with some drainage, it would help a great deal, but overall its a lovely place.
Well worth a visit along with the house over the river Itchin
Nice walk down by the river. You can feed the ducks and Swans from the feeding station
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
Good for kids
Dogs allowed
