The car park is small. What appeared to be an abandoned van had it's alarm going all day. A tree has come down obscuring at least one parking space. There are steps going up to the towpath. A good place to start a walk or cycle ride.
A beautifully quiet place for a picnic and watch the lock being used by canal boats.Lots of paddleboarders too and a nice towpath walk. Notba bad pub opposite to round off the day!
