This 18th-century textile mill turned museum showcases the history of the cotton industry in the UK, featuring exhibits on spinning, weaving, and printing, as well as a recreated Victorian-era village street with shops and cottages.
Visited here last week and popped in for a drink. They do tea/coffee/hot chocolate and a small selection of other drinks. Limited food but they do offer tea cakes, toast or crumpets. Decent value for money and a nice little place to stop for a brew. The person who served us was lovely. A small amount of seating and a few things to look at inside the centre, including the wonderful railway in the back room. There's also a toilet. Will definitely visit again.
