Great old ruins of allegedly the first stone built castle in Wales, and the scene of the slaying of the last dragon! 90p for an hours car parking just outside the grounds. Along with the castle is a short circular walk along the river with a nice low weir at the end. Little picnic site too so all in a very nice area.
Loved the walk around. Weather could have been a little nicer but was still a pleasant walk. Some informative boards around the castle and a nice walk in to village. Car park reasonable but fills quickly.
Good place for a walk, nice views around the river that surround the ruins of the castle, not strenuous but nice. Parking is very reasonable price PS1.90 for 4 hours and free in the morning some weekdays
