This caravan and tent park is situated in a picturesque countryside setting near the village of Llanidloes in Mid-Wales, offering stunning views of the surrounding hills and valleys. The park has 75 pitches, including hard-standing pitches with electric hook-ups, grass pitches, and a dedicated area for tents. On-site facilities include a toilet block with showers, laundry room, and a chemical disposal point. There's also a children's play area, a dog walking area, and a small shop selling essentials and camping gear. The park is a great base for exploring the local area, including the nearby market town of Llanidloes, the Cambrian Mountains, and the beautiful Elan Valley.
Stayed here Sunday 25 - Fri 30th July 2021. Met by Nigel the owner who was super helpful and could be found most days on site. Site is excellently placed to access the coastal path and nearby St.Davids and Solva. I stayed in a tent, pitched at the top of the site near the hedgeline. Ground was flat and perfect for tents, though would probably struggle with the larger sprawling mansions you can now buy. Lovely views out across to the coast. Site its self was very quiet. There were three working showers (free to use) and two toilet blocks. The dishwashing facilities are inside the toilet blocks which did create a slight wait at times. Of note for none electric campers - there is no freezer facility for ice blocks. For me the only reason for not having 5 stars.
Absolutely wonderful site , brilliant location , facilities spotless , Nigel the campsite owner is a absolute gentleman , highly recommend
Nice+ quiet, lovely walks+ bus stops right outside.
Very very basic site, showers are pathetic dribble. But quiet, clean and manager was nice guy. Short walk to coast path and about 2 miles either way to Solva or St Davids. Very short main road cycle until you can on quiet lanes, which take you all over the peninsula, fab on e-bikes.
Very helpful owner when we arrived. Happy to advise us on the area. Nice quiet site with nice clean showers and toilets. Nice area to visit. A bit out of the way from anywhere but that's what we came for. Great beaches a short drive away.
Lovely quiet place at this time of year. Even the dog was relaxed :). The caravan was homely and very well equipped. Located Between St. David's and Solva. Excellent communication from the owner.
