Easily walkable in under an hour. Also boasts a well maintained cricket pitch and model aircraft flying zone. Just a mile from Wheathamstead and Sandridge. Very popular on sunny weekends. Perfect for your kids or dog to simply enjoy the scenery, the nature and unrestricted access to all parts of the common.
We've just come back from a short stroll around the common, this is such a great place to go for either a walk or a bike ride at any time of the year. Today we took some cutouts of 'the Gruffalo' characters and hid them around the woods for the little one to find.
