It is such a beautiful place that is worth visiting for long walks, we did a circle around the reservoir in the forest, I recommend it 100% there is a large parking lot. Dog friendly .
A great jump off point for some good walks to Crazy Well Pool and Devonport leat, then back through Norsworthy plantation
Lots of areas to park up and great walks although can imagine very busy in the summer. If you have a dog, check the notices as many areas around the reservoir state they must be on the leads.

Some good walks and rides nearby. A bit muddy difficult walks up stream for some people but good views of the Burrator Reservoir. my instagram reel @johnny.mitchelmore have over 150 likes a record for me
