This 300-acre woodland park features scenic walking trails, picnic areas, and a variety of wildlife, including deer, birds, and insects. The park's terrain is a mix of woodland, grassland, and wetland, with several ponds and streams running through it. Visitors can explore the park's many trails, including the 1.5-mile Woodland Way trail and the shorter, more accessible Sensory Trail. The park is also home to a cafe, a children's play area, and a picnic barn that can be hired for events.
Wonderful place for country walk (with dogs!). VERY muddy, so dress accordingly! Has a decent amount of parking. Came out from London to visit friends nearby and it was such a nice treat to walk this park!
Visited in April 2023 and the place was really nice, was really muddy so need appropriate footwear and your meant to make a contribution to the honest box. Different trails to try as well.
Great place to take the dog for a walk. Loads of trails or deep wood if you fancy going a bit Ray Mears!
Beautiful but ruined by cars. Sadly whilst visitors come here because it's beautiful they do so by car and hence undermine its future.
Great woods with 3 marked out routes to follow
Wonderful woodland space. Enjoyable for both those who like paths and deep woods. Parking for PS1 and toilets. A very enjoyable ramble out!
