Litter free, well kept. Fresh air, beautiful scenery. Access to Speen Moors, dog walkers paradise, with plenty of poo bins. BMX track, and spectacular views from many of the benches, my favourite being 'Leslie's' bench (top of the park hills in front of BMX track) photo attached.
Nice day out but be aware you cannot take a dog into any of the formal gardens so very restrictive.
Canal walk from Newbury along Kennet. Nice and flat be careful of bicycles as very popular ride it seems.
Lovely place for family picnics, with a playground and zip wire. The view from the top of the hill is relaxing and rewarding! Now even cleaner and with young trees planted.
Nice spacious park to sit and watch the world go by. Lots of trees, so plenty of shade on a hot day. Nice and well kept and free of litter. Small fenced off play park for young children. Nice place to have a picnic with family.
