This annual agricultural show features livestock displays, horse riding competitions, and demonstrations of rural skills such as sheep herding and wood chopping. Visitors can explore a range of exhibits showcasing local produce, crafts, and services, as well as enjoy live music, food stalls, and children's entertainment.
Fine if you want to see some farm animals and get a burger or hog roast but not a lot on offer to justify the ticket price. I didn't see much in the way of fieldsports represented, shooting, archery, falconry and hunting were all notable by their absence. Perhaps I missed them as I didn't pay the PS3 on the gate for a schedule (surely we can include this with the PS16-PS20 ticket price). Retail stands were more limited than I expected, instead there was an abundance of businesses with stands advertising themselves and lots of food vendors. The site was muddy which is to be expected but very little seemed to have been done to mitigate this. I saw one small patch of sawdust put down but nothing else. Overall a disappointing experience, not what I've come to expect from a country show.
Not a bad day out but ruined by the PS20 entrance fee. Felt a bit pricey for what's on offer. Understand you could get it slightly cheaper for booking in advance but even that (PS16) felt overpriced.
Great day out, lots to see and do. Food options plentiful but very expensive.
Great day out. Cant wait for next year!!! Brilliant value for money.. suits all ages. Good all round family fun!
