A 240-acre botanical garden featuring over 5,000 different species of plants, including a vast collection of roses, a rock garden, and a variety of trees and shrubs. The gardens also boast several scenic walking trails, a tranquil lake, and a charming Victorian-era glasshouse.
This is a lovely place to visit, it has lovely even and safe footpaths throughout the area with some lovely views across the bay to Portland. There is also the Fort to visit if so inclined and you are just a 15 minute walk from Weymouth town too. You have to pay to park but the gardens and grounds are free to visit. The fort is by admission if you want to visit it. It's well worth a visit.

It's a beautiful place to sit and take in Seaviews, it's so peaceful. There are plenty of benches dotted about. The walk is lovely with lots of curious squirrels waiting to see if you have a nut or two hidden away. There is also a children's play area with picnic tables. I could easily spend my whole day there.
