Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery is located in the beautiful grounds of Riversley Park, just 10 minutes walk from the centre of Nuneaton.
Lovely local museum in very beautiful grounds. LOTS for children to do, including spotting all the rubber ducks which I also enjoyed despite being a grown up. Like most museums, it's fully wheelchair accessible but I was a bit confused by the toilets. Cafe makes your food fresh for you so if you want a different combination of sandwich fillings, just ask. My favourite bit is the yellow gallery which just has all kinds of art from local artists - all different styles, mediums and skill levels.
Great little place to visit. Compact so you can do this in a couple of hours. The museum is well laid out and very informative on the history of this place. Do go and look at the story of the gurkha soldier, who now lives in this region according to their information. Upstairs has an art collection, which is well laid out with good signage. Helpful informative staff who are very happy to tell you anything you might want to know. Very refreshing as have been to some places where they cannot be bothered. Do have a cream tea. Served so professionally by a lovely guy who works there and has such good customer care
Me and my mum had lunch in the cafe, the staff were friendly and the food was delicious, I would love to come again :)
