A nice local park with new & fun play areas for children around two small lakes with a selection of bird wildlife. Dog friendly ( on leads) & easy to walk around the landscaped grounds.
Lovely park, has a playground and play area for kids, ponds with ducks and geese and the occasional squirrels. It's a nice place to relax and read a book if that's your thing or play Pokemon Go. There's also a restaurant on the premises so you can grab a bite if you want. It's also a great place to walk your dog. There's a connecting park on the other side of the road which is also Oakmere. It's quite serene and has more wildlife there.
We have been visiting this Beautiful Park for many many years with our Children and grandchildren and also our pet dogs that has brought us some wonderful lovely memories. Make your here too!
It is pretty, but the play area needs some improvement, it was a rainy day, and there was just too much mud...on a sunny day I think is very nice
Beautiful place for a walk. Just, there are too many dogs sometimes. The place is very clean and well looked after. Lovely play areas hor children.
Fantastic park, we went there with two boys (3 and 7) and we all enjoyed it. I cannot wait to see it in all of the seasons. Spring walking is highly recommended here. There are two playgrounds, two lakes and many place to play football, badminton or something else. Also good place for a picnic.
