Iconic roller coaster with a 180-ft vertical drop, part of the Alton Towers resort theme park.
This roller coaster is within Alton Towers. Fantastic ride and the first vertical roller coaster in Europe. For an extra cost, you can do a track walk certain months of the year. Admittedly, it is not cheap as the park entrance needs to still be purchased (included with the walk is VIP parking and a fast past) but worth the money.
Enjoy the ride. Worlds first is always good to experience. I also did the v.i.p track walk which was excellent. The staff were superb and the views were brilliant
Went on this ride once it was really intense on the drop (vertical drop) you never have to queue long for this ride as it accommodate loads of people
Get one of the best views of the area on a great day, even if it's only for a few seconds.... still makes my heart race, being held there then dropped... short n sweet
Absolutely SUPERB..Nothing to be worried about! The seats are really comfortable and tip slightly back. Very secure restraints. Because there are so many people on each row it's almost like a roller coaster party As you go over the top , because of the angle of the seats you feel one hundred percent secure. It's the most amazing feeling and it's really really enjoyable!
I love the theming of this ride the most. Its a very nice drum and bass track that feels very spot on year 2000, like a playstation 2 game. The queue video is also great. I thought the ride was made in a retro style but i learned later that its actually from 1998! The ride itself isnt bad but just abit underwhelming. Its a nice drop but its quite low and the ride is very short, essentially its just the short drop and thats it.
