One of the most beautiful spots around. Perfect for a short visit or a while day off walking. One of the easiest walks is just around the perimeter of the reservoir and is about a mile and a half. There are also plenty of opportunities to wander off through the woods or take some of the longer and steeper paths. There are plenty of benches to sit and enjoy during your visit and nice picnic benches near the cafe and public toilets.

A lovely area for walking with or without a dog. There are a number of longer walks in and around the area, some leading to other beautiful areas. The easiest walk is just around the reservoir in a loop Enjoy various views of the woods too. Also lots of running water from the hills into the reservoir. Take a good look at Google maps or OS maps to see where else you can walk or hike to.

Ogden Water Country Park is a an open area country park located in Halifax. This is a great place to spot wildlife such as birds and my dog + family dogs love visiting Ogden. It is accessible for most apart from stiles in the fences - mainly around the wooded area. Do recommend. Cafe, restrooms, a promenade (with benches) and a picnic eating area. Pigeons and ducks can also be fed in the area with the cafe offering hot and cold drinks and ice-creams/ ice lollies.

Beautiful. Nice and easy circular walk. Perfect for not so fit people. Plenty of other walking paths in the woods and fields beyond the reservoir. My dog loved it there too.
