A picturesque beach with soft, golden sand and crystal-clear waters, Ogmore By Sea Beach is a tranquil haven on the coast of Wales. The beach is surrounded by limestone cliffs and offers stunning views of the Bristol Channel. At low tide, the beach reveals a vast expanse of sand, perfect for sunbathing, swimming, and water sports. The nearby village of Ogmore-by-Sea adds to the charm, with its quaint cottages, tea rooms, and pubs serving local ales and seafood.
Beautiful beach with an interesting rock formation! I went with the dogs and was able to park in the car park nearby which was easily accessible and not far at all from the beach. Lovely area lots of space on the beach. I did go on a Monday morning so it was very quiet which for someone with anxiety was great . The dogs loved it and it was nice to see the area. Did see some people on horses in the distance on the beach which was lovely to see but just as a warning in case you take your dogs . Overall lovely beach and nice and quiet!
It was very windy the day we visited, making it too cold to fully enjoy the beach. Despite the weather, the beach offers breathtaking views of the coastline and remains a stunning destination with its expansive sandy shores and dramatic rock formations.
Dog friendly, easy accessible and lots of parking spaces. PS2.00 for two hours. Coffee van nearby selling dog ice cream Great views and perfect place for a walk with your .
Beautiful bay with castle upstream. Well worth a visit. The large car park is monitored by ANPR so you are paying to stay...even just to admire the view. I noted several vans for ice cream & coffees , public toilets. Will visit again on a nicer warmer day!
