This 26-acre nature reserve is a haven for wildlife and features a variety of habitats, including woodland, grassland, and wetlands. The reserve is home to a range of flora and fauna, including rare species such as the great crested newt and the green-winged orchid. Visitors can explore the reserve's trails, including a boardwalk that winds through the wetlands, and enjoy scenic views from the observation deck. The reserve also features a restored 19th-century brickworks, which now serves as a visitor center and educational facility.
This is a great little walk for anyone in the area and has some laybys if your not from the area and need to drive. It is split over a main road, so need to be careful with children. My 2 year old loves it though, plenty of space to ride her scoot and for for push chair's. There are a few ducks and moorhens too for them to see
Brilliant, stunning place to walk the dog around
Great place for a walk in nature
You can't see the wood for the trees. Oh and there's some grass. Its rather nice for walking the dog. Please please pick up after your dog and use the bins provided. Keep it nice for others to use
Bit muddy as you'd expect at this time of year after recent weather but lovely as ever. Just the right size to walk a deaf, blind Cojack. Really loving the improvements being made and can't wait to see to develop over the coming months.
Nice local place, to walk around. Good paths and some have lightning.
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
Good for kids
Dogs allowed
