Wow wow wow! What an amazing experience. I got my partner a virgin experience day for Xmas to make his own knife, When we arrived he was given the choice of knife to make, he chose a cleaver! The team were fantastic, even when we were listening to the health and safety talk, they made it fun and very informative. There was a few people there doing different things, but the team especially Joe were excellent! Very encouraging, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Nice picnic area, homemade pasties and sausage rolls for lunch, the gift shop had some amazing things to buy. We will definitely be coming back for another session.

I was given a voucher for a 5hr experience and have to say it was the quickest 5hrs of my life. Despite choosing to go on what may have been the hottest day of the year it was great fun. We had Leon, (introduced to us as Horatio) and he was a great teacher, and very patient. All the staff were chatty and approachable which made for a relaxed day, although they were very clear about health and safety. I made a viking knife and was quite pleased with the results and have to give the credit to Leon who gave clear and easy to follow instruction. I will definitely be going back for another go, I'm thinking about making an axe next time. Highly recommended as an interesting and informative day out.

We had such a great time making our wedding rings yesterday. Everyone there was so nice and friendly. Roger gave us fantastic guidance and support making sure we were happy with the finished product. When we started I did not think we'd be be able to create what we did but we're so happy with the finished rings. Can't wait to start wearing them in a couple months. Great atmosphere with super knowledgeable and kind staff, it was a brilliant experience.

Incredible!! All staff incredibly friendly, welcoming and positive. Always there to help and super supportive. Its incredible to watch them all work their magic, and they infuse the whole place with their passion for what they do. Amazing set up for the large range of experiences they offer. The two day sword making course was worth every penny. Extremely enjoyable experience, will be going back in the future! Can't speak highly enough of the experience! The site itself is lovely and has some snacks if you forgot to bring lunch!

Absolutely awesome experience from start to finish. Great hands on experience starting with a blank bit of metal, crafting our own rings and leaving with something unique to us. Awesome guidance from Joe and the rest of the staff, keeping us going and helping us fix any mistakes. Despite it being a hot environment filled with swinging hammers we felt in safe hands the whole time with the plenty of staff there to look after us all. Definitely already planning another trip back .

Brilliant day out at a very reasonable price! Me and my girlfriend did the dagger making for 2 experience here and it was such a great day that runs at whatever pace you want. We did the 1pm slot so had a small crossover with the morning group which made parking slightly difficult but once the morning group had cleared it made it slightly easier. Experience itself was very good with all the staff being very knowledgeable in the subject the only problem we had is that we did kind of feel like we got forgotten about as staff were all busy dealing with other people we diddnt get checked on for a very long time so got a bit stuck and wasn't sure what the next step was at one point! Took us the whole 6 hours to make the dagger but we are thrilled with the result and have memories of the experience for ever! Top tip: sounds silly but it gets very hot in the forge! Do not be worried about going outside for 10 min fresh air and getting a cup of water, you can come and go as you please and take everything at your own pace.
