This former limestone quarry has been transformed into a unique attraction featuring a stunning underground lake, surrounded by towering cliffs and fascinating rock formations. Visitors can take a boat ride across the lake, exploring the quarry's hidden depths and marveling at the eerie, surreal atmosphere.
Very nice hidden treasure only found by accident. Lovely place to walk dogs & just relax & enjoy the scenery.
Lovely place to walk, more beautiful in better weather, it was nice to take the dog round.
It's a pit. That's what it is. 30 minutes max. Nice to walk the dog I guess.
What a lovely find; and a great add-on to a Wimpole walk
A very nice place to go for a walk! If you have a dog make sure they stay on their lead and if you have children keep an eye on them because it is quite dangerous at the top of the hill. It has quite alot of shear drops!
Undiscovered until recently. In itself ridiculous since I've lived in Cambridge 55 (ish) years. There is a beacon there (which I hope to see lit at some point) No wonder there is a beacon there, it can be seen for miles. So, with the seats, amphitheatre below, panoramic views, and the pure distance you can see. Fantastic discovery. Pls dont go there in droves .
Loop trail
Good for kids
Dogs allowed
