Otby Trout Lake is Lincolnshire's most natural and challenging trout fishing set in an exclusive and beautiful part of the Wolds - an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Nestled into the valley in Otby near Walesby, Market Rasen. The 6 acre lake is spring fed with a gravity fed fountain at the centre. It is stocked regularly with rainbow and brown trout, and fishing is by fly only. 2022 Day Tickets are available @ PS20 per day with the option of 2 fish. Boat hire is available @PS1.50 per hour Season Tickets @ PS200 All visitors are asked to sign into the boat house at the start of their visit and to record their catches before departure. Beautiful lake tucked in a stunning valley. Found this venue while staying at a nearby campsite last summer. Only had a few hours to fish but had three nice rainbows. Owner was friendly and helpful. Only saw one other angler while I was there. Will definitely return.
Beautiful setting, gin clear water, friendly owner, no fish. The owner said " oh I had better restock" . The other anglers all had the same outcome as myself. This could be an outstanding venue for fly fishing with work. After all this is Easter weekend and the season is already underway. Disappointed.

This is the best lake I have fished in Lincolnshire. Well conditioned and powerful fish. Caught 11 before midday, things got a bit slower in the afternoon. The owner was very friendly, would highly recommend this venue.
I went fly fishing here on Thursday with my boyfriend Chris, Chris caught ten brown trout and I caught two, this lake is set in beautiful surroundings and we found the people on the farm to be very friendly and helpful, we will definitely be coming back and highly recommend to anyone who enjoys fly fishing, fish were all in superb condition and fought well
Looks a beautiful place from the map and these pics. I'm not into fishing but I'd love a few hours peace n quiet with my head stuck in a book, instead.
