Ozzy the "raging bull", which took centre stage in Birmingham during the 2022 Commonwealth Games, is now on display at New Street station. Last month, locals voted to name the bull after the legendary Birmingham singer, who also performed during the closing ceremony of the games
What a wonderful sight to gaze upon for the weary traveller. Made originally for Birmingham hosting the 2022 Commonwealth Games and previously called The Raging Bull. Repositioned next to the entrance of platform 6 at Birmingham New Street Station 2023. This bull is truly a mahoosive sculpture standing at 30ft tall. Renamed after the legendary native Aston vocalist Ozzy Osborne of Black Sabbath fame. And just like the real Ozzy, it has an articulated head, swishing tail, and colour changing eyes.
Ozzy is inside Birmingham New Street station. Centrally located. The eyes change colour. Only disappointment is the litter bins round it.
It's great that they have kept this sculpture as a memento from last year's Commonwealth Games. It is housed in a prominent location, with lots of people using the train station every day. You can also get great views of the bull from the Grand Central balcony. The bull is named after Ozzy Osbourne, famous singer and a native of Aston, just down the road from Birmingham City Centre.
So good to see Ozzy again after his residency in Centenary Square in 2022. It's great that he now has a permanent new home. You just have to see Ozzy so come over and say hello
Ozzy is so cute. I love his anchor chain tail, his chain fur on his chest, his hooves and his eyes! I'm so glad he wasn't abandoned and has a new home indoors. Love him!
