A 16th-century Tudor mansion house with ornate stone carvings, tall chimneys, and a grand clock tower, surrounded by 350 acres of parkland featuring walking trails, a lake, and a variety of wildlife, including deer, sheep, and birds.
no access to the lake area. every few meters people want to kick you out.everyone sees you as an intruder. 100meters footpath to end way and must back.we will never go back there.worst place to walk ever.ZERO STARS.
It's lovely place to relax, you can do fishing in the lake and you can find a fisherman house near by, there is a nice hotel to - with wide landscape which includes golf field and big park where you can do really nice long walk.
The pin for Packington Park on this map is for the end of a public trail that runs through the forested area between the fishing lakes and the golf course. At some point you are walking past someone's backyard, where the trail has boards that say "No cycling". The potential for disturbing someone else's hobby or rest is significant, and the forest/swamp is not that pretty.
Beautiful place, wild deer everywhere, stunning venue, saw some carp on top of the lake wonder if you can fish it?
Nice park, good place to take the El Familia.
Lovely fly fishing venue. Will be back next year!
