Quite surprising to have found this area very modernized and beautiful, very different from the nearby area. There were many decent building with well known company located including Google. Having just walked the Regents Canal from near London Zoo , I exited at Granary Square intending to head towards Pentonville Rd. I always cut through via Kings Boulevard but by chance strayed into Pancras Square. Really impressed with the whole design of Japanese style garden with fountain , water pools & courses & at this time , flowering Cherry Trees. Nice bit of paving & brickwork , too. A pleasant spot to stop for a while & so near the bustle of the stations.
A nice place to start your walk down the canal. The architecture around the area is nice. When going on a walk if you start from here you can go all the way until Regents Park (while walking down the canal you can even see some monkeys ) You can also stop by a couple of markets to grab some food.
What a find. I have passed through St Pancras Station hundreds of times and never noticed the corridor leading down to here before. It was just I saw other people heading down there. We decided to investigate. Lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. Even a Bouls pitch to play on. It's peaceful and relaxed but still buzzing with atmosphere.
Calm and serene garden to relax and unwind from the hustle and bustle of the King's Cross and Pancras train stations and the wild traffic. I particularly find the water fountain soothing.
