A scenic hill in the Peak District National Park, offering stunning views of the surrounding countryside and the Dark Peak moorlands.
Park Head has lovely views out along the coast and can be reached from a car park not far back inland along a track or from along the coastal path. A beautiful walking area with plenty of gorgeous scenery. Bedruthan Steps is close by South of here, with Porth Mear Cove and Porthcothan just North. Up along the shallow valley from Porth Mear you can see a small wooden boat on the hillside. If you look closer you'll find it's actually a sculpture with various animals carved into it. A perfect area to explore the Cornish coastline from.
Greate place for walk wit family, dogs
Great spot, breath taking views, well worth a visit
Really nice coast walk and views
This site has possibly the best views in Cornwall . It is about a mile walk from the small car park down to the headland but on a nice day there is nothing better. Loads of birds and insects to see too and the occasional dolphin.
Lovely views and a nice place to walk the dog. If only we hadn't got caught out in an unbelievable amount of rain right as we reached the farthest point! Great walk anyway
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
Good for kids
