A charming and affluent area in southwest London, known for its picturesque village-like atmosphere, boutique shops, and restaurants, surrounded by beautiful parks and gardens, including the popular Parsons Green Park.
Absolutely beautiful green surrounded by 3 lovely pubs - my favourite is the 'duke on the green' in the winter and the garden of 'Aragon house' in the summer. Also home to the famous 'white horse' pub which is always busy and has a big outdoor area next to the green. There's always activities arranged on the green, like a beer tent in the winter, dog show and fun fair for kids in the summer. Lastly, it's peaceful and safe at all hours (I walked my dog in the dark and never felt unsafe). All in all brilliant green!
A small but relaxing triangle of greenery that's always nice to walk through while out shopping. It's a good place to picnic, walk the dog or kick a ball.
Classic, quintessential village green in London, bordered by great pubs (Duke on the Green, White Horse), fantastic shops (Friarwood wines, Bayley & Sage, Space NK) and excellent nearby restaurants (Brook House, Vicino). Hosts regular community events too, such as an English summer fayre and English sparkling wine fayre. Thanks to all who maintain the space and organise such great events.
I went to the parson Green fair, it was awesome. Though have visited the park years ago this was my first fair. Nice to mingle with locals and wander around the fair, fab selection of stalls. Met up with friends and Barnes White rabbit made an appearance. Enjoyed the entertainment on the stage as well as enjoying lots if delicious food on offer.
Having been through the oddly named station was was intrigued to see the area. I visited in January and found there is indeed a quite large green and a parson lived by the free - hence the name. The green was large and good for walking.
Lovely little green area to sit in the sun and have a coffee /little picnic. Nice coffee shops around to get the coffee/pastries from. Really nice atmosphere with nice architecture around. It's very clean too.
