Tucked-away sandy beach famed for its turquoise water, reached by scrambling down a rocky cliff.
Would say one of most beautiful beaches in the UK. Not easy to access, but it is accessible. Get ready for little hike, trekand climbing!. Make sure to check tide times before visiting.
This beach is so beautiful, with a nice view of the Logan Rock. It's like a wild beach but is so clean and tidy. The only thing which may be challenging for the families with kids or pets to get there, because you have to go a deep way down among the rocks. No toilets or other amenities there.
OMG! Where can I start....My husband and I took a trip to Penzance and specifically planned an adventure to this absolutely stunning beach. I researched it on Google though we didn't really know what to expect. My gosh this is a trek and a hike that is not for the weak. The part way down is very tricky and just when you think you've overcome the worse, wait till you've reached the very bottom to try get on to the beach...you'd be rethinking your life's choices! I'm a Caribbean girl and a sucker for a beautiful beach so off course I performed some acrobatics and made it down. I couldn't say which was worse, going down or coming back up but it was all really worth it. By far the best beach I've been to in Cornwall thus far and I've been to plenty. The water is absolutely gorgeous....Crystal clear, clean, crisp...nude friendly. It's not fine sand but more like broken up shells so it was very easy to dust off. My husband and I had an absolute adventure! *Make sure you wear proper shoes. *Pack light. *Having a stick will aid the trek. *Take your time! Don't rush just because others are behind you...let them pass and you go at your own pace. *Take water and Nibbles. *Check the tide time before you go. *DO NOT LEAVE YOUR REFUSE ON THE BEACH! BTW! Days later your legs will be burning!
Beautiful beach. Challenging climb down involving a rock scramble that is not suitable for dogs too large to be carried, or children who are not strapped to parents. Naturists abound - don't be surprised if you cop an eye full!
The best way to reach the beach is from Treen. Head towards Treen Farm Campsite, follow the road past the campsite until you see the sea. Look down, and you'll find this hidden gem right under your feet. This is the best beach I've ever visited--cozy, clear, and blissfully uncrowded. The remote location makes it challenging to reach, with some hiking and even a bit of rock climbing involved, which keeps the crowds away. But once you're there, it feels like your own private pool. Whether you're into swimming or just sitting and watching the sea, this spot offers both, with stunning views from the beach or from above. You can also enjoy breathtaking vistas from Minack Theatre and Logan Rock. .
Incredible, wild beach that can be reached by a cliffside path. Access to the beach from the path will be cut off at high tide. Fewer people than the nearly Porthcurno Beach, equally as pretty (if not prettier).
Wheelchair-accessible car park
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
Dogs allowed
