Grassy seafront rural park with footpaths, a playground, birdwatching hide & picnic areas.
Lovely place for a walk with very good views out over the bay. With binoculars I could see seals one the river bank. There seemed to be a lot of Common spotted Orchid in bloom at the time I was there. Toilets and cafe on site as well.
Stunning location, lovely cafe too. PS3 to park all day and can pay via Ringo for PS3.40. No issues with mobile signal when parking if card payments are not working on the machine.
Lovely little beach cafe, great food and amazing staff. A lovely little walk along the coastline ending up in the children's play area. Losing one star as the play equipment was more suited to older children. My toddler granddaughter could not access the slides without assistance. And when we helped her, the slide was too wide for her and she needed to be held to stop her turning on the way down.
Lovely little oasis. Parking charge but reasonable. Popular for dog walkers, and super little cafe Some free bird and nature walks available which sound great.
What an amazing peaceful retreat with stunning vistas across the marshland and huge bay between Ramsgate and Sandwich. One of the few places where you can barely hear any people or traffic. The serenity is so still and beautiful. Parking is Ringo, cash or contactless and capped at PS3 for the day. WCs, DDA and Baby change rooms off of the car park. A nice little safe play park for the kids near the car park. Burger snack hut and picnic tables providing a good cuppa and bacon toasties etc. The walks are lovely and peaceful, and make sure you go through the middle of the park to spot gorgeous highland cattle. Bird hide there too.
Nature reserve car park less busy and cost max of PS3 for all day. Lovely walks around nature reserve but bring your own picnic and binoculars, free hides available for all you amateur twitchers. Got a little playground for toddlers. Dog friendly but need to take away your own poo!
