Historic hilltop fortress ruins, with a sprawling rampart, offering stunning, panoramic views.
Really nice place for a walk and for all ages. There are 3 different routes to take I went up the steeper route to the top. Amazing views of snowdonia and the beach aswell as the town. Overall really stunning place.
Limited parking by the footpath gate, on the housing estate but worth the walk upto the monument for the view and the tranquility.
Well worth the trek It a short walk about 1/2 a mile to the monument, it is quite steep in places, but well worth it when you get to the top, stunning views.
Very nice spot to stay, Although the map is incorrect, The monument being called "the wellington monument", Heres a bit of history, Its actually meant to be an upturned cannon, Which was going to have a statue of the duke of welliington riding a horse ontop, Sadly other internal british issues scrapped the continuation
First time up and around here.... Fab place to visit and walk around....views are great..... And came across an historical dig by Cadw ...and fair play the people digging were more than happy to talk about what they were doing.
An amazing view but please only attempt if you are fairly fit
Wheelchair-accessible car park
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
