This 15th-century medieval fortress is a stunning example of Welsh architecture, featuring a grand hall, ornate chapel, and impressive battlements.
Lovely little place slightly off the beaten track. Not a great deal to see but still worth a visit if you're passing. 20 mins out of your day if you're not in a rush. Quite atmospheric if you like your history.
Beautiful place to stop off and have a look around. Free to enter.
Called 2 day my wife loves anything 2 do with history .I always feel cold in these places makes me feel for the people that mite of been mis treated here great its free 2 look around
A small medieval house a short distance from main road, you get a insight to what medieval people would of lived in. Good that It has been restored to its near former glory.
Absolutely beautiful Chapel! Thank you so much to Caren for all of her help with logistics and clearing down the day after. They were so friendly, organised and helpful.
Waited patiently for the 10 o'clock opening and even though it is picturesque from the outside, the whole visit lasted about 10 minutes. Not much to see inside (a fireplace, a diagram and descriptions of the building) not much to talk about really. It is a heck to get to - the roads are unbelievably narrow. All I kept saying was, let there be no cars coming the other way, as there were no places to stop and let cars pass. No fun driving the other way either. Whilst waiting, met some friendly cattle/youngish calves which made me think of when I lived on a farm. Good times.
