A scenic freshwater pond surrounded by lush greenery and walking trails, offering a peaceful retreat for visitors to relax and enjoy the local wildlife, including birds, fish, and other aquatic creatures.
It is very peaceful here and I saw plenty of ducks, the weather is beautiful for September, better than the weather we had the whole of July and August.
Lovely place for a walk nice wee platform for too see ducks and swans
Pretty wee walk, swans and ducks in the pond, plenty of other wildlife in the trees- birds, insects etc Lots of people out with their dogs, watch out for cyclists if you were earphones
Brilliant the dog loves it! It's a great area for a walk. You should try it sometime!
Beautiful place with exception of some inconsiderate people throwing rubbish around instead of using bins amply provided . Also people please stop feeding ducks and swans bread I know you think your doing good but your ruining the water and altering it's ph . Seeds and nuts and oats are fine and much better for the animals and their natural habitat Have seen hawks and herons ,swans and ducks and Moor hens as well as deer .Great place to take kids to see wildlife and great wee walks within the reserve as well as many ways in and out of the area.
Such a lovely place for a walk, feeding the swans and the ducks. Venture further in and a tremendous walk awaits you. If your lucky you might even get a chance to see the deer and other wildlife. Glorious place to take your dog for a long or short walk.
