We came in April, so I think the island was starting to open up for the summer. The weather wasn't very good but we had some time to spare before getting in the ferry back to the mainland. We came for bowling down the road a few days back, so we thought we would try this area out. The kids wanted to play the mini golf, which they enjoyed, but there was a lot of debris on the courses. The decorations were entertaining and the kids loved the ship. The arcade wasn't very good. The tickets we got were inserted the wrong way, so we lost the small amount of tickets that we managed to get. There was a staff member telling us the bar code needed to be facing upwards. It was the first time I have experienced this at an arcade, so it was new to me. Maybe this place would be better during the summer. The only thing we enjoyed was the mini golf here.

A lovely little amusement park on the heart of the esplanade. Always things going on on the green next to Peter pans. A lovely bar and restaurant. All in the beauty of the harbour and beach. This place can be very expensive so better to get a wrist band on the set days and times. They should get out there a bit more. Ie hide some Peter pans rocks on the beach each one is a token. Hide them all year round. They can collect as many as they like. Hand them in for a token. Then they get placed out in Ryde again . People always like finding things like that. Plus it cost more than one token for the rides so they will either have to find more stones or will have to buy more. Anyway. It's a lovely little place. Take ur 2ps and change with u. The kids love it. Not enough shade though in hot summer. Sitting waiting for kids when ur too hot is not good.

It was really good we got in while it wasn't busy, this gave the kids the chance to go on the rides they wanted to. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Had only 1 member of staff running the arcades indoors yesterday & had to get a refund as the 2p machines were out of order and were not given the correct money out. But i have loved it here since i was younger and still go here now but the space isn't what it used to be and now since a change around the arcades are all crammed in together. It's great though for all the family.

For an arcade it was very enjoyable the visit. Won several cups on the 2p machines to take back as souvenirs and saved loads in shops at full price. Staff friendly enough when tickets got stuck and needed assistance. Overall worth a visit.

Visited ryde whilst on holiday in IOW and this place was my favourite. A lovely little funfair for little ones :) friendly staff reasonably priced rides too! :) Quirky little shops and cafes along the beach too. The beach has options to hire chairs/beds etc and the staff again were fantastic! Beach was very clean and the water was warm and clear :) really felt I was abroad. Loved this place a lot cannot wait to return.
