Absolutely filthy! My daughter is two and her socks were black after an hour of running round! I didn't see the point in trying to clean them so just threw them out! After reading the reviews ( stupidly after going!) we both have contracted conjunctivitis and I'm in agony with a throat infection and the only place we have been is here in the past week! I was charged PS5 for her to go in which was the incorrect price and I was shocked that a bottle of lemonade was PS2.75! I washed my hands when we got home and they were vile! Absolutely disgusting! I changed her nappy in the baby change, the bin was overflowing with dirty nappies that stunk the place out! The cleaners were in the girls toilets (that were out of order) for about 20 minutes then left! Didn't empty the bins or pick up any of the rubbish that was scattered throughout the soft play! The actual soft play area is covered in patches where it has come in holes and it's so sticky! I can't believe it is actually still open! Won't ever be going here again! Photo showing her socks! She only ran around the areas where shoes are NOT permitted! Absolutely vile!
review .. the front door was blocked to wheelchair users the only dropped curb near it was blocked with the pub sign. Had to use the side door because the front door also has a small step. Food was not good, I had the burger and steak. Burger was overcooked and a really bad consistency, the worst I have ever had. Drink prices are normal. Kids running around. Toilets were so dirty I went next door to the hotel. Lazy staff, needs sorting out, could be a good place if run better.
The play area was absolutely filthy, would definitely avoid taking smaller children here! The staff were so rude and so unprofessional, they were to busy in the back bit to acknowledge there were families waiting to be seen. We then got told there was no spaces despite seeing multiple tables empty, and definitely not at full capacity. We went into the pub and the staff were more than accommodating in there which we thought right we will give the play area another try after we've ate. After paying and then seeing the state of the play area I wish we didn't bother, it looks okay until you touch anything. The slides are covered in grime and you cannot even slide down them you just stick to them. A lady was looking for something in the smaller ball pit whilst I was sat in there with my baby, the amount of stuff she pulled out a pile of odd socks, dummys, bits of food, I was absolutely disgusted. My baby coincidentally caught conjunctivitis and the only place we have been was here. It needs a full deep clean, new ball pit balls and the slides buffering to make them enjoyable. There was older children running about in the under 5's whilst there was 4 small babies in the play area, I know sometimes this is not helped when children are excited as I had my little boy trying to come see us too, but the staff were nowhere to be seen. Older children running up all the slides, throwing things there was just no supervision by the staff members whatsoever, and the front desk was never manned because they were too busy either outside or out in the back kitchen. Very very disappointed as I wanted a new little go to when we can have some cheap food whilst the kids play. Will definitely not be returning. Such a shame
We had our daughters birthday party and it was brilliant, definitely worth the money. the staff were lovely Keisha , Ella and Georgia. Thank you
Very disappointing, only one beer on and no real ale, the rump steak was very tough but the peppercorn sauce and the surrounding were very good.
