This 71-acre park features a large lake, walking trails, and plenty of green space for picnics and relaxation. The park is home to a variety of wildlife, including swans, ducks, and fish, and offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Visitors can rent boats and enjoy a leisurely ride on the lake, or take part in one of the many events and activities hosted in the park throughout the year.
Pickering Park is a wonderful place to visit with family and dogs. Its lush greenery makes it a perfect spot to relax. The park features walking paths, ponds, bird-watching areas, playgrounds, and open spaces. It's great for children, too, with so many birds to see. If you enjoy fishing, you'll find that opportunity here as well.
Lovely big park with plenty of swings and things to do for kids.
Beautiful park with its own Aviary /out door gym equipment
Sunny sunday afternoon, virtually empty, get the gates opened to allow parking people will come - why have disabled parking if the disabled cant access them. Nearly got knocked down by deliveroo rider on electric bike on pavement near aviary even though road empty. Rider had no intention of giving way to pedestrians, him being ignorant not parks fault. Merecats great fun.
Great place to visit for families or in our case our 3yr old grandson with lots of energy to burn. Lots of activities & safe play area. Picnic area Wide open spaces. Large pond with ducks geese & swans. Overall a good place to visit for an hour or so to take away the lockdown blues.
Beautiful Park extremely well maintained. Lots to do and loads of places for kids to go and explore safely. If you download the love exploring app you can down use this to find the Dinosaurs located around the park. Fabulous park a real gem and in my opinion the best park in Hull.
