Beautiful. A lovely place to sit & enjoy the peace & quiet. A stunning coastline.
Lovely place to blow away the cobwebs, the sands are closed from the 26th December for a couple of months but doesn't spoil a nice walk around the rest of the park. Good clear paths, great for exploring.
Nice place for walking both with and without dogs, fantastic views on Morecambe bay and the Pennines. Free parking for an added bonus.
Small wooden area with free parking, height barrier at entrance, there's a large area on the roadside where motorhomes and other large vehicles park. From here you can walk along the flood barrier along the coast great views of Morecambe Bay, excellent for birdwatching around the time of high water.
Nice place to visit, short walk to beach and lake, ample sized car park but it does have a height barrier. Layby with path back to lake just down the road.
Lovely little walk around here, be warned though some areas are not accessible to the public during lambing season. There's a nice open area for a picnic/BBQ with the kids. The picnic tables include a metal plate for disposable BBQs.
