Pinetum Gardens is a place of tranquility, peace and spectacular garden scenery. The largest modern garden created in Cornwall, and family owned, we offer an intimate experience with a personal touch rarely found in our busy world. Lovingly created over the past four decades, our idyllic 30-acre gardens are home to one of the largest plant collections in the county spread over ten individually themed garden rooms within a breath-taking landscape. We are also home to the unique 3 acre Winter Garden, the Oriental Garden and some of the county's most spectacular trees. We are as much a delight for garden lovers as we are a wonderful retreat for walkers, and a place for families to explore and have fun with nature..
Just got home from a 6 day stay in the studio house. It's so lovely I did not want to leave. The studio is spotlessly clean and comfy. The outside area is gorgeous with bridges, ponds, ducks, water features and colourful plants. The cafe does amazing quiches, cakes and coffee. If you pre order they will cook you a yummy breakfast. It is in a great location for exploring Cornwall. Can't recommend enough. Can't wait to return.
Bit of a mixed review, obviously can't rate the rooms as we visited for the gardens. We arrived wanting lunch and saw online they served food. We got there to find the food is served in a big tent, and they only had pasties available and a few other odd bits. So we decided to go elsewhere, as we were rather hungry, and didn't want to pay PS8-10 for a pasty. Hopefully we'll return and visit the gardens properly.
Absolutely gorgeous. We had 3 mobility scooters and saw everything that was to see. Tickets were valid for 7 days so you could visit several times. The food in the cafe was expensive but was very nice the sandwiches were massive. Definitely worth a visit the manager was so obliging.
Had the most brilliant chilled week here and was idea with my mental health. Grounds are beautiful and the lodge was lovely and modern. Staff helpful and friendly. Will be staying there again. My assistance dog enjoyed her down time walking around the gardens.
The gardens are beautiful. You could spend your days in the gardens only and feel you had a full holiday. Rooms are great and well equipped and modern. The one bed property is fine for adults and a small child because of the comfy sofa bed. I'd come again if in the area.
Wish I'd actually read reviews, instead of just looking at the star rating. Paid PS17 each to get in and were there less than an hour. Every single garden was immensely uninspiring. Had to take my boots off when we got back to the car, due to the sheer amount of duck droppings all over the "meadow field" (which should have been named the weed field) If it was free I still don't think I'd have been that impressed. Absolutely staggered that so many people have given this place a five star review. Each to their own, I guess...
