The statues, are showing longhorn steers and cowboys, great memory of the days of the Old West. The plaza is beautiful! You find lots of native Texas plants and a flowing stream, it is all very clean! It's really peaceful here, just walk around, relax and take photos!! Love this about Dallas!

The park could use some constant cleaning, especially with garbage in the water. There is limited free parking if you're lucky. The statues of cattle n cowboys are made from Iron so be extra careful on a hot summer's day. You can get burned.

We were unable to find reasonable parking for downtown explorations, but this was a wonderful spot with free and close parking.saw a bunny and a couple of squirrels also. Went after a rain and the mud was like clay, definitely recommend good tread on soles or your hiking shoes.
