tep aboard for a fun-filled 36 holes of Adventure Golf, spanning two 18 hole courses at Pirate Cove. Friends, family and pets welcome. Climb aboard Captain Jim's very own pirate ship or adventure around the smugglers' caves where legend says Captain Jim has hidden his treasure. No one knows what lies in wait around each corner at Pirate Cove, but keep guard for the creatures that search the sea and shore for any scallywags... Feeling brave? Impress the Captain and take on the two 18 hole challenges at your peril. Off the course, you can continue the adventure and take to the water on our pirate boating experience.
Came here with my wife and our 3 young boys. Great course with varying holes and fun caves and waterfalls. One criticism is that the greens and paths could be swept now and then as the leaves and debris causes a few obstructions when playing. Overall had a great time.
It was shut when I went but I peered in ... It big but I serisouly question the fibreglass castle. Why would pirates have a castle when they spend their lives at sea? Yes they may have stolen a castle but it wouldnt get on their ship. More historical accuracy required.
My children loved it and the staff were very friendly but for PS36 for a family of four the courses could really do with a lick of paint and on some of them the turf was coming away from the green and one of the pirates had holes in it. I think for the price the new crazy golf courses that are electronic and indoors are a better option for your money.
Thoroughly enjoyed a nice afternoon with my kids. Place is nice and clean, and staff were very helpful and smiley. What I don't understand is why you only allow a group booking of max 5 people, we are a family of 6, I was advised to book separately as a group of 2+4 which increased in prices substantially. Group of 5 = PS42.50 which is PS8.50 a person Booking seperately for 6 = PS61.00 which is PS18.50 difference for adding one person. Looking at the cost list the price reduces with additional players, until you get to a group of 5. Not sure what theory this is but I'm sure it has put others off.
A group of 5, midweek during a school holiday and right next to a main entrance to bluewater. Walked past it loads of times and didn't realise it was there oddly. Was busy, a constant stream of people coming and going, but didn't have to wait on any hole for more than a minute which was good. 2 separate 18 hole courses run side by side but dont get in each other's way. They should discount it if you book in for both. Was a good way to spend a few hours in the sun. Well worth a visit.
We really had a nice day out here. There are two 18 hole courses named 'smugglers' and 'pirates'. I chose the pirates course. As the venue is located in Bluewater there are plenty places to park. I would suggest not to use the post code on the receipt. Google maps wanted to drive me straight onto the course lol. The day we went was sunny and warm. I must admit I don't think my niece and nephews would have enjoyed the course as much if it was raining. The course is enjoyable for all ages with good laughs along the way. My only other observation is that some holes need some maintenance done i.e., paint work and netting replaced. I would suggest you end off your visit by going on the little boat ride.
