Pleasurewood Hills is a family theme park located on the East Coast just off the A47 between Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft. It is home to over 35 rides and attractions including East Anglia's tallest roller coaster Wipeout, the new look Water Fun Factory, the dizzying heights of the Jolly Roger and the all-time favourite sea lion and parrot shows. Offering a great, fun day out for families, friends, groups, corporate visits and school trips, the fun really does start here at Pleasurewood Hills.
Lovely little family theme park. This place has so much potential, yet on our visit, a few things let it down. None of the photo booths were open, so no matter what rides you went on, you had no way of capturing those moments. A few of the food venues were shut, so you were limited on the foods you could purchase. On the plus side , the sealion show was amazing. All the rides are pretty close together, plenty of areas with toilets, and the refillable drinks saved us a lot of money throughout. We ate Tony's, which had pizza or one type of pasta to pick from (please see pictures). Overall, the family enjoyed the day and would definitely return.
An over priced, run down adventure park. PS27 per person entry if bough at the park. We left after just 4 hours as we walked the full park 4 times and got bored. First theme park where I've ever done this. Multiple derelict buildings/things amongst the park. Not much there beyond basic fair ground rides. A couple of reasonable but super old coasters. Gift shop selling junk at eye watering prices. My son had a generally positive time at least. Won't ever be returned at those prices.
Came here with large family group and had a fantastic day out. There's a good range of rides with lots of rides for kids plus plenty of rollercoasters. The park is nice and compact and they have a chair lift and trains for seeing the sights when your feet are tired! Went in summer holidays on a Saturday and it was surprisingly quiet. Enjoyed the circus and sea lion show. Good value and staff super friendly too. Would recommend.
We did enjoy pleasure wood hills however two rides broke down when on them the woodland train and horse ride. These two rides my youngest was excited about and cried as they broke. We enjoyed the circus and the sea lion show. Not sure if we come back to be honest it was nice seeing place I use to come to a lot when I was a child and to bring my children here. Too many unused areas/buildings, things need a repaint and more happy customer service.
Had a great day out as a family. However the park felt unloved, faint paintwork, verges tidying up etc. As a disabled person upset could get into the shop due to poor access, rough Services too and our child could not go on a water boat ride as it is for two. Best bit - the wonderful Sea lions
Visited on a Thursday, not too busy. Plenty for all to do only thing that spoiled it was the wind so a couple of the main rides were closed. A little dated throughout the park and food was very expensive but tasty with quite a long wait after placing the order. On a whole there are rides for all to enjoy and we had a good laugh - especially on the mini train ride and the horses!!
