This picturesque fishing village on Cornwall's Roseland Peninsula boasts a charming harbour, quaint cottages, and a 19th-century pier. Visitors can enjoy fresh seafood, explore the village's narrow streets, and take in the stunning views of the Fal Estuary.
The 2 stars are for the Jam First cafe apart from that the only good thing about Polruan is the ferry to Fowey. You can see it all in 45 minutes
Brilliant little harbour. Beach, slipway, pub and cafe, bakery and well stocked shop just up the road what more could you want?
Nice little harbour, what's not to like.
So beautiful a scenery. Amazing historic place.
Spent a few hours quayside waiting for daughter to complete the hall walk. Love seeing the boats being renovated in the boat yard. Lovely ride over and back to Fowey on the little ferry. Dog friendly too.
Such a beautiful place! I've been coming here since about 1995; with my parents, now I'm bringing my own kids. Every time I come back (other than missing here a little more each time I leave) I find a new place to love or something that's changed a little or changed hands and I love it. I can not express how much I love this small corner of England...... my home.
Good for kids
