Pont Minllyn is a 16th-century stone bridge spanning the River Tawe in Swansea, Wales. This medieval bridge features three arches and is constructed from local limestone. Its narrow passageway, measuring only 12 feet wide, has been widened over the years to accommodate increasing traffic. Despite these modifications, Pont Minllyn remains an important historical landmark and a popular tourist attraction in the region.
Unfortunately we arrived just as the sun was disappearing, so apologies for the photos. A beautiful bridge, hard to spot from the main road follow the signs for the mill and visit there as well - better parking there as well.
This is a beautiful little jem its "lost in plane sight" you drive straight past it either on the main road or going to the Mill so look out for it its at the entry of the Mill just before you go into their gate - tranquil and beautiful
It is very pretty but blink and you will miss it. I struggled to even find it. It is only accessed by a gate at the entrance to Meirion Mill shop. Go through it and down the steps you can't actually get anywhere. If only there was a pathway running down the water side. The best view is from the main road.
Lovely example of an old bridge you can park in the free car park at the mill. Mill shop is lovely.
Amazing 17th century bridge but there's no access to it. Off the main road and probably missed by many.
We were staying in Dinas Mawddwy so walked here and it was worth the walk. Beautiful scenery, a few bits to see and the Mill has a lovely gift shop and cafe.
